Join us as we host our  Annual competition on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022.  Spring Fling Cheer & Dance Competition offers an opportunity for cheer teams, solos,  duets, trios, and teams of all sizes and levels to compete in the Houston area. This competition is open to dance class students, studios, community/private teams, Junior  High, and High School groups. Directors have a chance to receive a critique from highly  qualified judges.

HOW TO REGISTER 

Please click on the appropriate button/link below for cheer or dance. Within the link, be sure to electronically fill out the following:

  1. REGISTRATION FORM 

  2. WAIVER/RELEASE OF LIABILITY (FOR EACH COMPETITOR) Link Provided Below 

  3. FULL PAYMENT ( Invoice will be sent via PayPal)

REGISTRATION MUST BE TURNED IN BY MARCH 25th.

LATE REGISTRATION MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED AND MAY BE SUBJECT TO A $5 LATE FEE PER PARTICIPANT.

JUDGES/SCORING SYSTEM

There will be a set of routine and safety & deduction judges at each competition.  All judges’ decisions are final. 

SAFETY/DEDUCTION INFORMATION

Any deductions/penalties will be taken from a team’s FINAL average score. 

 

Time Limitations

Each competition performance must not exceed four minutes (4:00).  Timing will begin with the first movement, voice, or note of music, whichever comes first. 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS & GENERAL INFORMATION

FINAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS WILL BE EMAILED TO EACH REGISTERED COACH  AT LEAST 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. 

MUSIC MUST BE EMAILED TO TRACEE  DAVIS,  @dancewithd2d@gmail.com with the team name in the subject line by March 28TH. NO MUSIC WILL  BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.

 

CD’s MUST READ TEAM NAME AND CATEGORY. 

START TIME OF COMPETITION WILL BE DETERMINED BY NUMBER OF TEAMS/ PARTICIPANTS REGISTERED.

$15 (STUDENTS AND ADULTS) 

CHILDREN TWO (2) AND UNDER ARE FREE.


CONCESSIONS
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK. CONCESSIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SITE.  BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED AT THE TEAM AND SPECTATOR CHECK-INS 

 

EVENT T-SHIRTS & MERCHANDISE

T-SHIRTS AND MERCHANDISE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON SITE.
